On December 22, 1992, Plaintiff Wilma Brown, a 69-year-old homemaker, was advised by Defendant St. Vincent Medical Center personnel to use the walkway ramp to get to her doctor's appointment. While walking down the ramp, Plaintiff Brown slipped and fell and hit the back of her neck, allegedly causing a blood vessel in her brain to leak.
