Facts
On Jan. 8, 1995, the plaintiff, a 31-year-old set painter, was working on a set when her right foot was run over by a scissor lift being operated by a co-employee. The lift was being moved from one location to another. The lift was rented from the defendant equipment rental company. The plaintiff brought this action against the defendant based on negligence and product liability theories of recovery.
