On July 29, 1999, the plaintiff, a 49-year-old district attorney investigator, was involved in an automobile
accident whereby the defendant driver was driving a vehicle as part of his job with defendant plumbing
company. The defendant driver went through a traffic signal and collided with plaintiffÆs vehicle.
The plaintiff brought this action based on negligence theories of recovery.

Damages

There was a workerÆs compensation lien for approximately $125,000.
