Plaintiff Pearl Harris, a 79-year-old, was a business invitee at the Scottsdale Fashion Square Mall on Saturday in August 1977 when she tripped and fell over a Stinger protruding 18 incheas from Ryan's, a minor, 1966 Volkswagen Bug. The vehicle had broke down and was pushed to the side of the parking garage earlier that day by Ryan.
