According to the plaintiff: The plaintiff, a seven-year-old boy, was selling candy door-to-door for a Christian
school at a townhouse complex when a Rottweiler owned by the defendant bit the plaintiffÆs left arm without
warning. The dog was tied up at the time of the incident.

Settlement Discussions

The plaintiff demanded $100,000.

Damages

The plaintiff claimed $14,886 in medical expenses.

Injuries

The plaintiff sustained a dog bite requiring 17 stitches to his left wrist with a residual scar inside his wrist line which is barely visible. The wound later became infected requiring the plaintiff to be hospitalized for three days for observation. The plaintiff also underwent counseling.
