Facts

This litigation involved injuries received by a truck driver from fallen products located in a truck trailer. The truck
was loaded by employees of the defendant which manufactured and loaded the goods and transported by
employees of defendant trucking company which transported the goods.
The plaintiff, in the process of opening the back trailer doors, was severely injured when product unexpectedly
fell from a co-employeeÆs trailer.

Injuries

The plaintiff suffered neck surgery, anterior cervical fusion and diskectomy, multiple surgeries on right knee, left foot surgical decompression, major depressive disorder, chronic headache, fractured fibula and tinnitus. The plaintiffÆs medical providers testified that the plaintiff would likely need a future diskectomy of the back and knee replacement surgery.

Result

Defendant trucking company which transported the goods, paid $40,000 to defendant which manufactured and loaded the goods on the trailer.
