RIVERSIDE - The words of two former U.S. Supreme Court justices inscribed on the façade of UC Berkeley's law school moved David G. Moore to pursue law.

A portion of the inscription, a quote from Supreme Court Associate Justice Benjamin N. Cardoza, read: "You will study the precepts of justice, for these are the truths that through you shall come to their hour of triumph ... "
