Governor Fills Bench Vacancy in Riverside
RIVERSIDE - Gov. Gray Davis has appointed Riverside County Supervising Deputy District Attorney Helios "Joe" Hernandez as a Riverside County Superior Court judge.
Hernandez, 56, of Riverside, oversees the narcotics prosecution division of the office. He will fill the vacancy left by retired Judge Curtis R. Hinman.
