Reed Smith hosts cycling event

Members of Reed Smith's Palo Alto office hosted the dZi Foundation's 2013 cycling fundraiser kickoff last week with a ride down the California coast from Palo Alto to San Luis Obispo. The dZi Foundation works with underserved communities in the Himalayan Mountains to improve the quality of life through education, health care and poverty reduction. This summer, Reed Smith's marketing specialist Zack Simkover will ride with the dZi Foundation Team in the Trois Etapes ProAm cycling race in the French Alps to further raise money for those causes. In last week's ride, participants from UBS, Wells Fargo & Co. and Faction Media rode alongside Reed Smith cyclists Simkover, partners David Reidy and Doug Boven, associate Drew Amoroso, Kay Scott-Smith, staff attorney Rana Ansari and systems analyst Byron Barrett. - Jill Patton
