San Francisco and Marin County bar associations join for annual food drive

The Bar Association of San Francisco and the Marin County Bar Association have teamed up for an annual fundraising drive from lawyers called, "Food from the Bar." This year the campaign hopes to raise a record $580,000, donate 10,000 pounds of food and volunteer 700 hours. The fundraising drive began April 29 and extends until May 24. The Food Bank serves 225,000 people in San Francisco and Marin. One lawyer that's participating, Jerry Roth, a litigation partner at Munger, Tolles & Olson LLP, convinced his office on May 3 to dress up in Mad Men-themed attire. He donated $50 for each participating staff member. - Jill Patton
