Parks Remarks Elicit Yagman Retort
A letter to the editor (April 4) from L.A. Police Department Chief Bernard C. Parks complains that I was "quick to label the federal government's actions" in visiting Los Angeles to investigate patterns and practices of LAPD misconduct as "window dressing." He goes on to set forth incorrectly my disciplinary record with the State Bar; Parks then suggests that I "explain [my] disciplinary record" to the U.S. Justice Department.
