Isuzu, Consumers Union End Defamation Trial
While lawyers for an automaking giant told jurors Friday that "truth doesn't matter" to officials at the leading product rating magazine, lawyers for Consumer Reports said the automaker was blaming the publication for sagging sales of the Isuzu Trooper sports utility vehicle.
