Patrick Kelly Sworn in as 88th State Bar President
On Oct. 13 Patrick M. Kelly was sworn in as president at the State Bar's Annual Meeting in Monterey. Kelly is a partner at Wilson Elser Moskowitz Edelman & Dicker LLP and previously served as president of the Los Angeles County Bar Association. During his acceptance speech he said his top priority will be "securing full and fair access to justice for the citizens of our state" who have been affected by the "devastating and unacceptable underfunding of the courts." Kelly's oath of office was administered by Cantil-Sakauye.
