Federal Judge Disqualifies Pelican Bay Defense Lawyers Judge Disqualifies Defense Attorneys to Prevent Conflict
SAN FRANCISCO - A federal judge has disqualified two defense attorneys from representing a Pelican Bay State Prison guard charged with encouraging inmate assaults on jailed child molesters. The lawyers, Rockne Lucia and Michael Rains, were disqualified because they previously represented seven guards expected to testify at the trial.
