Shearman & Sterling: Boston Scientific To Acquire San Diego Catheter Company

Boston Scientific Corp. will acquire Interventional Technologies Inc. in a cash transaction valued at $345 million. Boston Scientific, based in Natick, Mass., develops, manufactures and markets medical devices worldwide. Its products are used in the cardiology, pulmonary medicine, radiology, urology, vascular surgery and gastroenterology fields.
