Legal group honors 'Women of Achievement'
Legal Momentum, a women's legal defense and education fund, recently bestowed its 2014 Women of Achievement award to a group of women who have reached the top of their respective fields. The group presented the awards at a March 20 dinner event. Honorees included Adriane Brown, president and chief operating officer at Intellectual Ventures; Van T. Dang, vice president and deputy general counsel at Cisco Systems Inc.; Carrie E. Dwyer, executive vice president, general counsel and corporate secretary for Charles Schwab Corp.; Kerry Francis, partner at Deloitte Financial Advisory Services LLP; Lucy Lee Helm, executive vice president, general counsel and secretary for Starbucks Corp.; Mary G. Murphy, partner-in-charge of the San Francisco office of Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher LLP; and Laureen E.
