Cooley Godward: STAFFMARK TO SELL DIVISION FOR $196M IN CASH

StaffMark Inc., which provides temporary and supplemental staff to companies needing employees for office administration and light industrial, technical and information technology work, will sell its Commercial Services Division to investment company Stephens Inc. in a cash deal valued at $196 million. StaffMark is based in Fayetteville, Ark., and Stephens Group is based in Little Rock.
