Loyola Law hosts student exchange program with Peking University
Seagull Song, Loyola Law School professor and resident China scholar, gives an overview of entertainment law to a group of students from Peking University Law School. As part of an exchange program, Loyola Law School students had the opportunity to study entertainment law and business in Los Angeles and Beijing alongside Chinese lawyers and executives. The program, arranged with help from Peking University Law School, included lectures on entertainment, media and intellectual property issues from Loyola professors and practitioners. While attending classes in L.A., students went on field trips to Warner Bros. studios, a taping of "The Voice," and visited with entertainment attorneys from Glaser Weil and Hogan Lovells.
