In commenting on the horrific events that took place in Tucson, Ariz. on Jan. 8, 2011, Pima County Sheriff Clarence Dupnik made it clear that "outrageous toxic political rhetoric" has consumed us as a nation, much of it emanating from the state of Arizona. However, I do not believe this is the case only in the political arena. I feel that people in this country have become more "blame-centered" and seek to cast as "the enemy" those who may disagree with them.
