Firm's fundraiser brings in money for families, school

Los Angeles-based family law firm Phillips Lerner ALC raised more than $6,000 for the Los Angeles Youth Network in 2013 as part of the firm's 15th annual Adopt-A-Center fundraiser. The Los Angeles Youth Network provides housing and educational programming to runaway, foster and homeless youth in the city. It also operates a high school in partnership with the Los Angeles Unified School District. Firm managing partner Stacy Phillips organized this year's fundraiser and hosted Kathryn White, director of major gifts for the network, at a Dec. 10 holiday dinner, where White discussed the organization with the law firm's clients and friends. Previous recipients of the firm's fundraising efforts have included Imagine LA, Upward Bound House and United in Harmony. — Kylie Reynolds
