Firm hosts Camus-themed event
Reed Smith LLP teamed with networking group Silicon Vikings and French culture organization Alliance Francaise Silicon Valley to celebrate the centennial anniversary of the birth of Nobel Laureate Albert Camus with a Dec. 17 gathering at the law firm's Palo Alto office. Attendees mingled over drinks and food while taking in 15-foot-long, freestanding multimedia displays, courtesy of the alliance, showcasing more than a hundred images as well as video and audio recordings of the famous French writer. Liisi Eglit, an assistant curator at Stanford University libraries, and Anais Saint-Jude, the special projects designer of the Stanford Technology Ventures Program, also gave presentations on the intersection of technology, art and philosophy.
