LA legal community rallies for food drive

For the fifth consecutive year, the Los Angeles legal community came together for the Food From The Bar campaign, which collects food and funds to benefit the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank. Eighty-two law firms and organizations raised more than $442,000, accumulated more than 2,100 volunteer hours and brought in more than 18,000 pounds of food. Various awards were given to recognize firms and individuals for their participation. The top three firms for most donations overall were Munger, Tolles & Olson LLP, Latham & Watkins LLP and McKool Smith Hennigan, in that order. The top three firms for donations by capita, which factors in the size of the firm, were Latham, McKool Smith and Kirkland & Ellis LLP. — Ben Adlin
