LA bar installs new president, trustees
The Los Angeles County Bar Association installed its 2013 president, Bonne, Bridges, Muelle, O'Keefe & Nichols lawyer Patricia Egan Daehnke, and its Board of Trustees June 27 at downtown Los Angeles' Dorothy Chandler Pavilion. Nearly 500 civic officials, local and state judicial officers and LACBA members gathered for the event, during which the group also presented select awards to members of legal community. Los Angeles Police Chief Charlie Beck presented LACBA's highest honor, the Shattuck-Price Oustanding Lawyer Award, to Gerald Chaleff, special assistant for constitutional policing of the Los Angeles Police Department. Joan Mack received the group's Patricia Phillips Outstanding Committee Service Award, Lynette Berg Robe was awarded the Matthew S. Rae Jr. Outstanding Section Leader Award and Michael Lindsey took home the Samuel L. Williams Outstanding Trustee Award. — Ben Adlin
