Election law takes center stage at Public Policy Institute event
The state's top campaign finance enforcer and a leader in the California business community sat down Tuesday to talk about improving the state's elections. Ann Ravel, chairwoman of the Fair Political Practices Commission, and Allan Zaremberg, president of the California Chamber of Commerce, talked about the potential for reform in California elections, the current state of campaign finance disclosure laws and other issues at an event hosted by the Public Policy Institute of California.
