Holiday cheer comes to San Diego appellate bar
The San Diego County Bar Association's appellate court committee hosted its annual holiday luncheon Dec. 13 at the W Hotel. State Supreme Court Justice Carol Corrigan was a special guest speaker. Judith McConnell, presiding justice of the 4th District Court of Appeal, Division 1, asked Corrigan about her path to the bench and her transition from an appeals court judge to a Supreme Court justice. The audience of around 60 was introduced to the committee's new leadership and informed about programs to be held in the coming year. — Chase Scheinbaum
