Corporate counsel institute holds annual seminar
USC School of Law's Institute for Corporate Counsel held its annual seminar on Tuesday at the California Club in Los Angeles. The daylong program featured panels on issues facing in-house lawyers. One panel, which included former Gov. Pete Wilson — now at Bingham McCutchen LLP — Assembly Speaker John A. Perez and Los Angeles City Attorney Mike Feuer, focused on the changing economic landscape in California. A panel of appellate practitioners from Washington, D.C., discussed cases on the U.S. Supreme Court's 2013 docket. — Ben Adlin
