Court Tosses Access-Road Condition
The end of an eight-year legal tug-of-war between a private landowner and Riverside County may just be the beginning for others. On Wednesday, the 4th District Court of Appeal ruled that the county of Riverside cannot require a landowner to build a public access road on adjoining property as a condition to obtaining a development permit.
