Group recognizes Central District judge
The Japanese American Bar Association held its annual gala event this month, with U.S. Rep. Mark Takano serving as the evening's keynote speaker. The bar association hosted numerous other elected officials, judges and hundreds of attorneys as well as members of the local Japanese-American community. It was held March 7 at the Omni Hotel in downtown Los Angeles and featured the music of noted concert violinist Ryu Goto. — Henry Meier
