A new law passed by the California Legislature and signed by Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger in late August opens a rare, time-limited window for filing claims for the return of stolen art that would otherwise be barred by the statute of limitations. The bill Assembly Bill 2675 - does so in a fair and limited manner, making key concessions to the concerns of potential defendants.
