Chief justice swears in bar association board leader

Helene Wasserman of labor and employment law firm Littler Mendelson PC was appointed chair of the Conference of California Bar Association's board of directors for the 2013-14 term. State Supreme Court Chief Justice Tani Cantil-Sakauye inducted Wasserman into the new role on Oct. 12. The organization draws lawyers from various local, specialty and minority bar associations across the state. Wasserman is a Los Angeles shareholder at Littler, which represents management in domestic and international disputes. — Chase Scheinbaum
