Akin Gump cycles for cancer research
A team of Los Angeles-based Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld LLP attorneys along with administrators and staff participated in the annual Cycle for Survival, a national indoor cycling event that raises money to support the lifesaving research on rare cancers at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center. The charity event took place on March 2 at the Equinox Club in Westwood. Akin Gump's L.A. team raised $16,640, making it the No. 34 corporate team nationwide and the No. 3 team in Los Angeles. Overall, Cycle for Survival has raised more than $13 million this year.
