JAMS awards first Warren Knight Peacemaker Award
Kimberly Sheffield Deck was honored as the first ever recipient of the Warren Knight JAMS Peacemaker Award in January at the House of Blues in Los Angeles. The award is named in memoriam of the late Judge Warren Knight, founder of JAMS and step-father of Deck. Deck began her legal career as associate general counsel at JAMS. She has been a full-time mediator since 1998 and operates her own practice, On Deck Mediation. The annual award honors counsel that has demonstrated success in the use of alternative dispute resolution techniques in the entertainment and media industry.
