Two female scientists sue Salk Institute, alleging gender discrimination
The two separate complaints allege the company routinely denied the women adequate resources, promotion opportunities and commensurate pay, when compared to their male colleagues.
Two tenured female professors at the Salk Institute for Biological Studies, Katherine Jones and Vicki Lundblad, have filed lawsuits against the nonprofit research institute in San Diego County Superior Court, alleging long-standing gender discrimination.
