Bar association hosts benefit
The Bar Association of San Francisco's young lawyer division, the Barristers Club, hosted a benefit art show at Morrison & Foerster LLP on May 16. The event sold art pieces by several Bay Area artists, including Stephanie Court, Francis Baker and artists represented by 4x5 Gallery. A photograph of a tree by San Francisco-based U.S. District Judge William Alsup, an accomplished nature photographer, was also auctioned. The event raised around $5,000 to benefit two bar-sponsored programs, Mock Trial and Law Academy, aimed at helping minority high school students interested in the law and college. - Emily Green
