The University of California, Boalt Hall, on Friday released its statistics for the fall 2000 first-year class.

The number of women enrolled at Boalt Hall continues to rise, and, for the fifth straight year, women are the majority. This year, women represent 64 percent of the students in the first-year class, up from 59 percent last year.
