The justices this week will hear these cases: Is the proper venue for a suit to vacate an arbitration award the federal district court for the district in which events underlying the dispute occurred, or the district within which the arbitration award was made? The 11th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals said it is the latter. Cortez Byrd Chips Inc. v. Bill Harbert Construction Co ., 98-1960.
