9th Circuit conservatives cry foul in another habeas case
The left-leaning majority at the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals has the votes to reject en banc review of controversial pro-inmate habeas corpus opinions, as it again demonstrated Tuesday.

The left-leaning majority at the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals has the votes to reject en banc review of controversial pro-inmate habeas corpus opinions, as it again demonstrated Tuesday.
But the circuit's minority right wing remains on a mission to flag for the U.S. Supreme Court what it sees as liberal excesses requiring correction.
It was the third such face-off this month.
