Judge: Plaintiffs’ amended complaint similar to dismissed one
A federal judge appeared unmoved by the arguments made by a group of drivers who are trying to prevent Hyundai Motor America Inc. from dismissing their consolidated class action against the company for allegedly selling them vehicles with a defective self-healing paint.
A federal judge appeared unmoved by the arguments from a putative class of car-owners trying to sue Hyundai Motor America Inc. for allegedly selling them vehicles with defective self-healing paint.
Addressing plaintiffs’ counsel David C. Wright during a Monday hearing Monday, U.S. District Judge Beverly Reid O’Connell said the amended complaint seemed very similar to the one she dismissed in April.
