OAKLAND — An attorney representing AT&T Inc.-owned DirecTV on Monday attacked Federal Trade Commission claims of deceptive marketing practices in a bench trial that could cost the company as much as $3.95 billion.
Jeff Tillotson of the Tillotson Law Firm in Dallas accused the FTC of trying to create a false impression of consumer confusion based on incomplete, and in some cases nonexistent, evidence.
