Leaders of the State Bar and the agency's Committee of Bar Examiners met Monday to try defuse recent tensions, but it appeared the two sides still have a ways to go before making peace.
Members of the committee that reviews the bar exam and other attorney admissions matters were quick to share lingering resentments with bar officials and voice concern about an ongoing study of the panel's functions.
