I appreciated the judicial profile of Judge Ronald Coen of the Los Angeles County Superior Court, who probably has presided over more death penalty jury trials than any other judge in California history.

In a typical Judge Ron Coen understatement sort of way, the last sentence of the article mentions that Judge Coen, "in his free time, teaches two courses on death penalty cases throughout the state."
