OJ trial a generation later: Beyond the black and white
The OJ Simpson “trial of the century,” already distant enough in the past to be the subject of fictional revision, offers a few lessons we should acknowledge.

Race is so contentious a subject we cannot think clearly about it, regardless of our own identity or politics. Among our worst tendencies is framing issues as metaphorically black and white, setting up false dichotomies, without any of the grays constituting reality.
