A U.S. judge granted relief for a man convicted in the infamous 1976 Chowchilla school bus kidnapping.
Judge Claudia A. Wilken of the Northern District agreed with attorney Gary K. Dubcoff that the 2012 parole hearing for his client, Frederick N. Woods, one of three people convicted of the crime and the only one still incarcerated, violated his due process rights.
