CYBERSLEUTH
Despite the multiple, massive data breaches reported by corporations over the last two years, it may be that the least secure place for data is the federal government. Based on a 17-month audit, the General Accounting Office found that inadequate security measures at federal agencies lead to 35,277 data breach incidents in fiscal year 2017. Those breaches included web-based attacks, phishing and the loss or theft of computing equipment.
