Cautionary tale: unlicensed contractor dodges a bullet
In a recent appellate case, a contractor who was unlicensed during a portion of a project dodged a bullet. However, I’m not so sure that he dodged the hail of bullets that were coming after.

In the days before cable, and long before Netflix, Hulu, AppleTV, et al., I watched my fair share of spaghetti westerns. The squint of Clint Eastwood's eyes. The slap of leather. And the "zing" of bullets flying through the air. One life lesson from these movies is that while you might get lucky and dodge a bullet, you can't dodge a Gatling gun.
