The Court in Dobbs got history wrong – California got it right

I write to remind us all that the California Supreme Court, in 1969, established “the fundamental right of the woman to choose whether to bear children” and that right was established under the California Constitution. People v Belous, 71 Cal. 2d 954 (1969). I also write to bring to light the historical record that was reviewed by our Supreme Court and which was left unexamined by the decision in Dobbs.
