Sacramento mayor angles for appointment to 3rd District Court of Appeal

Darrell Steinberg has been a state legislature and held a number of other jobs but has not been a superior court judge.

If Gov. Gavin Newsom nominates Sacramento Mayor Darrell Steinberg to the 3rd District Court of Appeal, he’ll have to sit some matters out. The city is a party to at least 15 case pending before the court.
