Redondo Beach councilman denies State Bar allegations
The State Bar previously accused Zein Obagi Jr. of the Obagi Law Group of not paying clients more than $500,000 in settlement funds. New charges relate to a lawsuit Obagi filed in which he fingers other attorneys for failure to pay the clients.
An attorney who is also a member of the Redondo Beach City Council is the target of a new disciplinary action brought by the State Bar over allegations that he mishandled $500,000 meant for a client.
