Law enforcement probing dealings between State Bar and Girardi
“The main reason why we weren’t able to release the reports until Friday of last week was because we were cooperating with a law enforcement agency and we weren’t able to,” General Counsel Ellin Davtyan said.




The State Bar disclosed Monday that it has been working with law enforcement officials for the past month, since it received a law firm’s report alleging some of its now-former employees took bribes from plaintiffs’ attorney Thomas V. Girardi, and lied to investigators, among other alleged crimes.
