Broadband says Orrick advised it, then appeared for opponent

Wednesday's proceeding in San Francisco Superior Court regarding the plaintiff's motion to compel discovery was the final calendar entry in the case before the April 3 jury trial.

A tech company’s accusation that Orrick Herrington & Sutcliffe LLP improperly appeared as opposing counsel in a $100 million litigation appears to be headed to trial after a hearing Wednesday.

The litigation stemmed from a licensing agreement on which the firm advised the tech company.
